College of Physical Therapy

The Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy (BSPT) program is a four-year degree program based on CHED Memorandum Order (CMO) No. 55 series of 2017 rationalizing the Physical Therapy Education in the country in order to provide services to people through the development, maintenance and restoration of maximum movement and functional ability throughout the lifespan.

Mission

  • Produce physical therapy graduates and professionals who have developed exceptional expertise in physical therapy services, well-motivated and goal-oriented clinicians in the attainment of excellent level of success and achievements.
  • Provisions of excellent physical therapy professionals who are companionate in serving the community as providers of quality rehabilitation services.
  • Produce practitioners who are research-based and evidence-based practitioners in the field of physical therapy.

The College of Physical Therapy aims to develop physical therapy professionals who are excellent in clinical practice, locally and globally recognized in their roles in the society, responsive to the call of the international community, and to take pride and honor in the institutions core values and the Filipino culture.

The BSPT Program aims to produce physical therapists who are competent to fulfill professional responsibilities in the following areas: patient/client care in various settings for different populations; education of individuals and groups; administration and management of physical therapy programs, institutions and facilities, including private practice and delivery of home health care services; lifelong learning for the development of the profession; health promotion; advocacy for the advancement of the profession; community service and development; and research.
