Ores Estrella, RN-BC BSN, a previous Arellano University-International Nursing Program (AU-INP) student and alumnus of Alderson Broaddus University took a quick visit to AU Legarda Campus to meet the aspiring nurses enrolled in the program.
Ores graduated from Alderson Broaddus University in May 2013, granting him an American diploma with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree. In the same year, he passed the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX-RN). Since then, he worked for several US nursing homes and hospitals until he landed his career as a Charge Nurse at Sibley Memorial Hospital in Washington D.C.
With a BSN degree as his second course, Ores believed that this career paved the way for many professional nursing opportunities. He was recognized as the “Diabetes Champion Nurse” because of his contributions that transformed the diabetes care of clients in their hospital institution.
During his visit, AU-INP students had the chance to engage with him where they learned a great deal about the benefits of pursuing an international nursing degree. The AU-INP students were truly inspired by his experience. Likewise, his INP family was also delighted to witness his success as a US Registered Nurse.
