After a long wait because of the pandemic, Teatro Arellano performed on a live stage to a live audience. The show was open to everybody.
On February 17, 2023 the Teatro Arellano presented three plays at the Florentino Cayco Hall under the supervision of Ms. Angela Janine Martinez, Artistic Director of the Teatro.
Sinag ng Bukas is the story of a star-crossed lovers, starring Mr. Maki Blasco and Ms. Ryella Casidsid. This is followed by Pares, an LGBTQ love story starring Ms. Patrice Diongzon, Ms. Nina Alabado, Ms. Karylle Portogalera, and Ms. Maria Veronica Buensalido; and the last play, Sambit, starring Mr. Maki Blasco and Ms. Hannah Pujalte, in a story of a blossoming romance between two strangers meeting up in the confessional of a church.
The plays were written in 2022 by Mica Justine Flores, Sinag; Pares by Ms. Daisy Sario and Gambit by Nica Fortuno.
